Cinte Techtextil China returns with debut zones in early September 2025, harnessing sub-sector market potential

Shanghai, 9 January 2025. From 3 to 5 September, Cinte Techtextil China will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, with new features capitalising on market growth. In addition to its regular European Zone, the upcoming edition will launch two product zones, namely the Medtech & Protech Zone and the Mobiltech Zone, alongside other precisely crafted features. With innovation and sustainability at its heart, the fair’s fringe programme will include events such as Econogy Talks, an innovative product showcase and other themed conferences and presentations, maximising promotion and information exchange between fairgoers.

Cinte Techtextil China 2024 closes after promoting East-West nonwovens and technical textiles business exchange

Shanghai, 2 October 2024. In the face of an evolving economic landscape, the technical textiles and nonwovens sectors are often at the forefront of adaptation and innovation. Such was the case at the recently concluded Cinte Techtextil China 2024, attracting nearly 400 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions and nearly 17,000 visits (2023: 15,542), with visitors hailing from 77 countries and regions. Sustainability and industry innovation in focus at recent Cinte Techtextil China 2023

Since the rapid growth brought about by the pandemic, the technical textiles and nonwovens markets are stabilising towards a new normal – one in which technological innovation, sustainable development, and intelligent manufacturing are the most sought-after qualities. Held from 19 – 21 September 2023 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the fair amplified this new industry direction, both through its fringe programme and across the booths of the 40,000 sqm show floor. Cinte Techtextil China 2023: next week’s innovation hub draws nearly 500 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions

Technological progress often results from close collaboration, and industries that rely on continual improvement stand to benefit from the return to in-person business. Cinte Techtextil China’s first edition since eased pandemic measures is set to reflect a 27.9% increase in exhibitor numbers, with a rejuvenated international contingent further supplemented by the return of the European Zone. Cinte Techtextil China 2023 to launch new Marine Textile Zone amid favourable forecast

At the crosswinds of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Marine Economy and its 14th Five-Year Guidance for the Development of the Technical Textiles Industry lies the marine textile sub-sector. Following the government’s directive, the Marine Textile Zone will be unfurled at this year’s fair, taking place from 19 – 21 September 2023 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The second edition of Cinte Techtextil China to take place since the post-pandemic recovery began was once again strongly appreciated by exhibitors and buyers for providing the opportunity to conduct business face-to-face from 22 – 24 June. The new Techtextil Digital Days online platform was also highly praised for connecting exhibitors with buyers unable to be at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in-person. Final report: Cinte Techtextil China succeeds as an effective business platform once again

Quality buyers, new business opportunities and a still-growing domestic market: this was the consensus from participants as Cinte Techtextil China concluded on 6 September. The exhibitor and visitor numbers may have remained roughly the same this edition, but exhibitors all agreed that quality over quantity matters, and at the 2018 edition, this was certainly in evidence throughout the 4 – 6 September show in Shanghai. These exhibitors totalled 485 from 22 countries and regions (2016: 480, 26 countries and regions), including an 8% rise in overseas participants. The number of visits recorded a slight increase, totalling 13,203 from 55 countries and regions (2016: 13,085, 67 countries and regions).
